In late 2025, Vector GFX Inc. acquired the Canvas X Draw product line from Canvas GFX, Inc. This acquisition allowed us to breathe new life into an industry-standard platform, specifically focusing on the needs of the modern professional. Led by Chairman Gary Griffiths and co-founders Matt Griffiths and Rebecca Darsch, our team brings decades of operational expertise to the technical drafting landscape.
We recognized a critical gap in the market: while the world moved toward heavy, expensive 3D CAD suites, technical illustrators were left without a high-performance, native solution for 2D precision—especially on macOS. By launching the first Universal/Native canvasxdraw for Mac, we’ve ensured that professionals can leverage M-series architecture for 0.035-micron accuracy without the bloat of traditional engineering software. And that’s not all – we will continue to focus on our canvasxdraw family of products including our windows product and our GEO product.
